PRICING

Pricing for all custom orders is determined by the complexity of designs and is inclusive of my design time, baking, decorating, and packaging. Custom orders require at least 2 weeks notice prior to your requested pickup date.

 

Availability is not guaranteed and a 25% "cookie emergency" fee will apply for orders placed less than two weeks before your pickup date. Please see the pricing guide below for more detailed information.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO ORDER?


On average, I accept orders two months in advance up to 3 weeks prior to an event. As soon as you know - the better! Absolutely check with me to see if there's room on my calendar. Orders placed within 2 weeks of your pickup date may incur a 25% fee to cover my rescheduling process and rush ordering for supplies.




HOW LONG WILL MY COOKIES STAY FRESH?


All hand-crafted cookies are individually packaged and heat sealed to preserve freshness. Cookies are best left in their original packaging at room temperature for up to one (1) week. Do not refrigerate or expose to direct sunlight - as both will create condensation and ruin the icing designs. Cookies can be frozen for up to three months if you plan on serving them later than a week after pickup, or would like to save extras for a future snack. Simply place in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag. To thaw, remove from freezer and allow cookies to come to room temperature while remaining inside their airtight container/bag to prevent condensation from forming on the icing designs.




DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS ON LARGE ORDERS?


Large orders take more planning, time, and resources than an average order! Because I am a cottage baker and do not have access to the supply discounts that larger retailers are offered, I am unable to offer bulk discounts on my hand-crafted goods.




CAN YOU ACCOMODATE ALLERGIES?


Due to the nature of our kitchen, I cannot accommodate allergies. My signature cookies contain almond extract, dairy, wheat flour, and eggs. We are careful with our sanitation practices, but please be mindful that Sugar Bar desserts are produced in a kitchen that processes nut products, as well.




DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING/DELIVERY?


Under Indiana Cottage Law, I am unable to provide delivery or offer shipping services. All orders must be picked up on my front porch during designated pickup days.




WHEN ARE DESIGNATED PICKUP DAYS?


Custom orders may be picked up Wednesday - Saturday, and must be scheduled at time of booking. Please be prompt! I coordinate my production alongside order pickups and typically do not have room to store unclaimed items. A $25 storage fee will be charged for every half hour past scheduled pickup that an order is not retrieved. Unclaimed items will be donated or resold without refund after 24 hours.




CAN YOU DO CORPORATE ORDERS?


Absolutely! I love to create customer gifts and replicate logos. Most logo cookies fall within my Deluxe pricing category.




WHEN WILL YOU BE AT THE FARMERS MARKET?


Because I offer custom orders regularly, I am unable to be at the market every week! I always post on social media when I have a market pop-up planned, and update this website as well!




HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
